Fever - Lord of Diseases - What to do about it ?
Now, fever is caused by the accumulation of toxins in the body, some kind of chronic infection in the body, or the body's desperation to get rid of some kind of bacteria or infection that has accumulated in the body.
Here's what you need to do in the initial stages if you're having just body chills, fatigue, fever symptoms, cold, and cough:

Number one is fasting.
Remember, the digestive system is compromised here.
The weak Agni is one of the reasons for fever. Your Agni is already weak.
Do not consume heavy food, especially meat, seafood, eggs, dairy products, curd, or yogurt, and even oily foods.
It's best to do water fasting if you can, and have lemon juice if you can, to detoxify the body.
While you're water fasting, if you feel hungry, you can also have juices from fruits like apples, pears, pineapple, and oranges. This helps in boosting your immune system and detoxifying the body.
Put a pinch of black pepper to prevent the sugar spike.
In Ayurveda, there are certain herbs like Tulsi, which is called holy basil, Pipul, which is called long pepper, then we have ginger, we have Giloy or Guduchi, and Amlakai, the Indian gooseberry.
You can make tea out of these and also drink it.
You can also take 12 grams of fenugreek, which is called methi, boil it in water, filter and drink this.
This helps in detoxifying the body of parasites, bacteria, or infections that are accumulated in the body.
This also helps in cleansing the colon.
You can also put a cold compress on the head to reduce the body temperature.
Remember, fasting is one of the best remedies for fever.
If the symptoms are strong and acute, you must see a doctor, but in the initial stages, do these at home.
