Struggling with a frequent cough

Struggling with a frequent cough?

Ayurveda offers gentle, time-tested remedies to soothe

your throat and support lasting relief

This is caused due to narrowing of the airway passages, due to irritants, infections, inflammation, and poor dietary habits, where

you consume a lot of sticky foods like dairy products and sugary treats.

Cut away those from your diet and do a food fast for twenty-four hours on just freshly squeezed orange juice mixed with warm water and a pinch of black pepper.

This helps in clearing the airway passages, improving your bronchial health, and reducing mucus accumulation.

Number two, you can take a concoction of honey, grated ginger, and a pinch of turmeric.

You can also add pepper and cinnamon powder to it.

Now, honey has antibacterial, antiviral, and antimicrobial properties, and ginger has a similar property.

This helps in improving the heat in the throat, clearing away the mucus. Do not mix honey in hot water, it turns toxic.

Have it as a rock paste.

You can also take haritaki, which is called myrobalan. It's a fruit.

You can take that freshly squeezed fruit or the dried haritaki in the form of a tea that helps in clearing the mucus and improving your bronchial health.

Another popular remedy is fenugreek seed tea.

Just take one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds, also called methi seeds, boil it in water and drink it empty stomach.

This clears the mucus from your body and reduces Kapha imbalance and cough symptoms.

You can also take almonds, soak them overnight, next morning grind them into a paste, mix it with some butter, plant based butter or cruelty free daily based butter and consume this empty stomach.
